Barstow Report

David Barstow reports in The New York Times that retired Gen. Barry R. McCaffrey may have used his job as a military analyst for NBC News to promote a view of the Iraq war that was advantageous both to the defense contractors he consulted for and the Pentagon. This and his related articles win Barstow the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting in 2009.⁴⁴
